Google Rumored to Be Acquiring "WhatsApp" for $1 Billion.
Rumors about WhatsApp being sold to Google were all over the web a few days ago, with talks about WhatsApp valuating itself at $1 billion.

However, Neeraj Arora, WhatsApp's business development head, told that the company is in fact "not holding sales talks with Google", though declined to say more than that.
Rumors about the sale of WhatsApp aren’t anything new. Back in December, it was speculated that Facebook was looking to acquire WhatsApp. The company officials had come out back then and denied any such talks with Facebook.

WhatsApp Messenger is a cross-platform mobile messaging app which allows you to exchange messages without having to pay for SMS. WhatsApp Messenger is available for iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, Windows Phone and Nokia and yes, those phones can all message each other! Because WhatsApp Messenger uses the same internet data plan that you use for email and web browsing, there is no cost to message and stay in touch with your friends.

In addition to basic messaging WhatsApp users can create groups, send each other unlimited images, video and audio media messages.
